The book is on sale online and shipped worldwide by Fabriano Boutique

Printmaking Tales, is the new editorial project published by Opificio della Rosa for Fabriano dedicated to printmaking, designed to explore the history of an ancient and fascinating language that has been a constant presence for generations of artists.
A volume, produced in two languages, Italian and English, which stems from the desire to stimulate curiosity and interest in the world of printmaking and which is aimed not only at an audience of specialists but also at all those who have never had the opportunity to experience the alchemy that arises from the meeting of ink with paper through different printing methods.

Looking at the prospects of contemporary graphics and thinking of the new languages that are being developed, I would love these Printmaking Tales to open a door from which to observe the journey of art and craftsmanship, begun many centuries ago, that we call printmaking.
Umberto Giovannini

The Opificio della Rosa is a non-profit organization dedicated to low environmental impact techniques whilst facilitating traditional and innovative methods of printmaking: the woodcut, the intaglio, to the most innovative printmaking techniques.
Technical experimentation and interdisciplinary work that ties printmaking with other artistic fields are encouraged, this also through a program of artistic residencies, summer workshops and collaborative projects are developed each year involving artists internationally.
The Opificio della Rosa, born in 2009 around the homonymous workshop in Montefiore Conca, is now joined by a new studio in Morciano di Romagna dedicated to letterpress.
The association is working on specific projects with Anonima Impressori – Bologna, Luigi Castiglioni – Rimini, Atelier InSigna – Rome.
Special projects are realized together with the University: Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London; RUFA, Rome University of Fine Arts; Accademia di Belle Arti di Catania.
